We teamed up with Erin Foster – Bumble’s creative director and notorious cool girl – to bring L.A. not only a killer view, but an exclusive event featuring fitness, wellness, and beauty! 

Hosted at the newly opened AllBright West Hollywood, Erin Foster joined us – and over 200 attendees –to check out free simulated surfing workouts from Sandbox Fitness, cryotherapy facials with CryoCafe, and even a dry braid bar from TreSs Apothecary + Salon. We truly thought of everything. 

It was a night to remember! If you’re feeling major FOMO though, don’t worry; here are our favorite moments from the epic event. 

Keep your face cool. 

CryoCafe showed us all about keeping our faces refreshed and gettin’ that youthful glow. As simple as grabbing a cup of your favorite coffee, their 5-minute BeautyFix facial stimulates blood flow and cell regeneration in the skin. Not only does it tighten the skin, but it also reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, boosts collagen production, and bonus: it’s even antibacterial to rid you of those pesky breakouts or irritations. Two things keep people stuck in an eating rut: restrictive dieting and fad dieting. Halloween seems to scream out to both of these.

Those seeking to improve or maintain their health believe they have to restrict and completely refrain from enjoying any festive treats. It’s like a bad spell! It's a mind trick that results in you feeling deprived, unworthy, or worse—binging on the Reeses-filled candy jack-o-lantern by the front door when no one is looking.

Then there are fad diets. The “I’ll start Monday” mentality kicks in, or people desperately search their phone, ordering the nearest juice cleanse to undo all the damage. Spoiler alert: it doesn’t work! These tricks not only take us backward; they can cause damage to both our mental and physical health.

It’s all about an anti-deprivation and pro-understanding approach. As nutrition coaches and personal trainers, we value sticking to one track: your track.

So when spooky season comes around, it’s even better when we can integrate festive and gut-friendly treats into Halloween. Each of these recipes is gluten-free, dairy-free, and refined sugar-free with no artificial sweeteners or flavors. Your sweet tooth and tummy will thank you!
