Combining interval training, weights, and different circuits, it’s very similar to what you would traditionally see at the gym. Plus, it’s a killer workout that will have you both feeling stronger!
While Pilates is not usually the exercise of choice for most men, you’ll find that the toughest guys take it all the time. With an emphasis on smaller moves and slower motions, it utilizes muscles traditional running or weight lifting won’t hit. It’s not all pie and lattes ladies and gents, Pilates is hard work.
Kickboxing is our favorite heart-pumping cardio workout. This high-energy workout is guaranteed to burn calories. It tones the entire body while also helping to get out any stress or frustrations. Bonus: Most exercises are partner-based, so that means you can show your S/O how you “float like butterfly and sting like a bee.”
Couples who Savasana together, stay together! It may seem like an obvious choice, but doing yoga as a couple can strengthen not only your body, but also your bond. It helps increase communication and trust as well as reduces anxiety and any stressors in the relationship.
Riding a bike is a healthy and low-impact exercise for any age. Cycling is a great class for people who are just starting out in boutique fitness since it’s easy to pick up on (you know.. like riding a bike!) It makes for the perfect activity for couples who want to try fitness together —no matter the weather, skill level, or attire requirements!
